9th Annual Campout-Lake Corpus Christi State Park
Posted on October 24, 2023
On the weekend of Friday March 22nd through Sunday March 24th the Corpus Christi congregation will be hosting their 6th annual Lake Corpus Christi State Park Campout. Lake Corpus Christi State Park is located about 30 miles north of Corpus Christi, TX.
Weekend activities will include a Sabbath Bible Study, campfire fellowship, and a telescope star/planet viewing party after the Sabbath ends.
Last year we had about 75 participants from 4 different church areas, this year we are hoping to host many more. This will be a great activity for hiking, biking, fishing, and fellowshipping.
We will be camping in individual campsites in the wooded area of the park. Each campsite has a picnic table, water, electricity, fire ring, and BBQ grill. To reserve a campsite please contact Arnold Mendez, Sr directly. He has pre-reserved a group of campsites and he will assign you a site.
There is a handout that is available on the information desk (or from the pastor), which contains more information. Or you may go the Corpus Christi COGWA website where an announcement is posted and the handout can be downloaded and printed out.
If you have any question feel free to contact Arnold Mendez, Sr.

Festival Registration 2017
Posted on April 5, 2017
Festival registration opens on April 16, 2017, at 10 a.m. Eastern time. We ask that ALL COGWA households please complete the online Festival registration—whether attending in the U.S. or internationally. If adult members in one household are attending different sites, they will need to register individually. We also ask that those NOT attending please register as well—this gives us more accurate figures for planning.
Beginning at 10 a.m. Eastern time on Sunday, April 16, members can begin accessing the http://feast.cogwa.org/ web page for Feast registration. The email address of the registrant will be used to identify that person’s or family’s registration account. After accessing the COGWA Feast web page, simply click on the “REGISTRATION” tab and begin the process. All registrants will receive an email verification immediately after completing the first step of registration. To complete the process, simply access that email, click on the link provided and finish your Festival registration.
Members without Internet access should be assisted by their local Festival adviser.
