Astronomy is a very important Biblical topic.  The moon, the sun, the stars and other astronomical bodies are mentioned in the scriptures.  In this first part of a multipart series we lay the ground work for the studies that will come later.  Part 1 covers the fact that Jesus the Son of God is the Creator of the universe.  We also look at two imprortant concepts as they apply to the cosmos and how the Bible forsaw this modern concepts.
