This vese seems to indicate that the disciples were preparing the Passovervon the first Day of Unleavend Bread which occurs on the 15th day of the first month. If the Passover is to be kept on the 14th day of the first month how could they be preparing it on the 15th day when the 14th had aready passed.  This message explains this scripture and the seeming contradiction.
